Words of Wisdom from the Bible
A word fitly spoken in like apples of gold in pictures of silver. — Proverbs 25:11

Let thy words be few. — Ecclesiastes 5:2

The words of a wise man’s mouth are gracious; but the lips of a fool will swallow up himself. — Ecclesiastes 10:12

Wisdom strengtheneth the wise more than ten mighty men which are in the city. — Ecclesiastes 7:19

And he changeth the times and the seasons: he removeth kings, and setteth up kings: he giveth wisdom unto the wise, and knowledge to them that know understanding — Daniel 2:21

Also take no heed unto all words that are spoken; lest thou hear thy servant curse thee: for oftentimes also thine own heart knoweth that thou thyself likewise hast cursed others. — Ecclesiastes 7:21-22

Which things also we speak, not in the words which man’s wisdom teaches, but which the Holy Spirit teaches. — Corinthians 2:13

Wisdom is the principal thing; therefore get wisdom: and with all thy getting get understanding.

Exalt her, and she shall promote thee: she shall bring thee to honor, when thou dost embrace her.

She shall give to thine head an ornament of grace: a crown of glory shall she deliver to thee.

Hear, O my son, and receive my sayings; and the years of thy life shall be many.

I have taught thee in the way of wisdom; I have led thee in right paths.

When thou goest, thy steps shall not be straitened; and when thou runnest, thou shalt not stumble.

Take fast hold of instruction; let her not go: keep her; for she is thy life.

Proverbs 4:7-13
